Abstract:
Breast Cancer (BC) is a prevalent malignant neoplasm that poses a substantial threat to the wellbeing of women worldwide. Despite surgery remaining the primary approach for treating breast cancer, the emergence of Breast Cancer-Related Lymphedema (BCRL) as a potential consequence of surgical intervention has presented a challenging clinical issue. This paper provides a reference for the treatment of BCRL by systematically describing recent research results on the incidence and mechanism of BCRL and factors related to its risk, prevention, and treatment.
