T-Cell Eyelid Lymphoma in a Young Patient: A Case Report

Abstract:

Lymphomas of the orbit and Orbital Adnexa (OAL) are rare. These tumors may present with a wide variety of symptoms like proptosis, visual loss, ophthalmoplegia, eyelid edema, erythema, pain, etc. Most OAL cases are Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL). We present a case of a 26-years-old male, who presents with edema and erythema in the lower right eyelid for 15 days. On examination, a violet, firm mass (4.5×3.5 cm) was observed. Computed Tomography (CT) revealed a preseptal, solid, homogeneous, isodense mass without contrast enhancement. Incisional biopsy revealed intense CD45+ and CD3+ positivity, suggesting T-cell leukemia/lymphoma vs. T-cell Lymphoma T Natural Killer (NKTL).
